About me

Hola! I’m Josefina and I teach yoga for real mamas

Hola! I’m Josefina and I teach yoga for real mamas.

I help mothers in real bodies stop starting over and finally stick to self-care through short, effective yoga and mindset practices.

My work is for women who are tired of hustling, comparison, and fitness that leaves them depleted — and who want to feel at home in their bodies, steady in their minds, and strong enough to show up for the people they love.

I specialize in accessible yoga sessions for moms at every stage—pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond

I’m a certified pre- and postnatal yoga teacher, and a pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist (PCES), and I have an MA in Service Design (Hochschule Luzern). My mission is to help women establish a consistent yoga practice, regardless of their fitness level or busy schedule, and to prioritize self-care through mindful movement.

I’m a textile designer from Argentina turned yoga teacher, passionate about self-care for mothers.

I took my first yoga class back in 2002 and although I loved it, I didn’t think I had the skills necessary to become a true yogini, much less to teach yoga someday.
Over the years I practised on and off.
Yoga became a critical tool to heal the trauma of my birthing experience after becoming a mother for the first time in 2015.
Not having much free time, I managed to build a regular yoga practice as part of my self-care routine.
Now I help women stay strong and flexible (in body, mind and spirit) during pregnancy and the early postpartum months, but also to establish a yoga practice even when life as a mom is chaotic and prioritizing ourselves is challenging.

A reformed bookworm

Never having been the athletic type, I went from spending long hours sitting at my desk reading or in front of the screen, to practising yoga regularly as an essential part of my routine.

Based on the different demands of pregnancy, postpartum and motherhood, my classes have a holistic approach that goes beyond asanas to include techniques such as pranayama, meditation, sound and self-reflection.

I teach yoga for real mamas at every stage.

Learn from real moms who have chosen to make space for their well-being through the practice of holistic yoga.

“I love Josefina’s classes. She taught me some breathing techniques that aid muscle relaxation during breastfeeding or while carrying my baby, very effective! The positive affirmations she shares at every practice are very inspiring; they help me adjust my approach to motherhood in my daily life. She provides a secure space for body and mind care. I enthusiastically recommend her classes!”

Francesca R.

“Combining experience and empathy, Josefina made the yoga classes a safe space to practice yoga in a soft and playful way – and to continually discover the changes within my pregnant body. She helped me to build up trust and confidence in my body and to get ready for birth – physically, mentally as well as emotionally.”

Kristina K.
“The time I spent with Josefina and the other future moms helped me connect with my baby and myself. The classes provided me with mental and physical support throughout my pregnancy. I have learned to listen more and be kind to myself.”
Chiara B.

“Though giving space to our various individual moods and needs, Josefina managed to bring the class together in a calm and focused atmosphere. She is very down to earth and makes yoga feel accessible to everyone – which is crucial, when your body is going through so much change! She leads you through the exercises with clarity, but leaves room for finding your own way into yoga.”

Shpresa J.

“The classes helped me a lot focussing on my body, training and relaxing the parts that were important during the pregnancy and as a preparation for giving birth. As my belly got bigger they helped me managing back pain and tensions. I absolutely loved working with Josefina.”

Anja C.

“Josefina is very competent. Her instructions are careful and precise. She has a good eye and knowledge of the body. Her classes are balanced, well prepared, designed to get the best result and have a holistic approach. My confidence in my own strength has increased. Future moms should definitely try her classes.”
